I never thought I would do it but thanks to a swift kick in the ass by
I did submit The Quickening to Lyrical Press a few weeks ago. And this morning......I got the acceptance email!!!!!! I am still in shock I think. I don't think I ever really thought that I would do it.
I have to thank Del as well as :healersmoon: for giving me those final pushes and all their encouragement along the way. Del has helped me so much...I owe her alot. If it weren't for her, I don't think I would be writing today. When I first met her 5 years ago, I wasn't writing. She started me writing again, she pointed me to NaNo where the Rikashi Files got started, and didn't let me get away with hiding my stuff in the corner. She's helped kick Shirak's butt when he was being stubborn and helped me remember the answers when he wouldn't talk. Love you Del!!!!!
And Healersmoon has also been a huge help to me...critiquing and giving me the buck up when I felt down on myself and giving me an added boost to send it to a publisher. Thank you sis...love you !!!!
Now...to get my butt cracking on editing the next book and writing 4 ^.^
